Nevada/Utah CCW Classes

CONCEALED CARRY CLASSES (CCW) for Nevada and Utah are offered on a Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm-10pm. The cost is $100 for the Nevada and an additional $100 for the Utah certification. Utah CCW classes start at 4:30pm on Tuesdays. This includes course materials, eye & ear protection, and range qualification for 2 handguns. Any additional handgun qualifications are $15 if done during the same qualification session. If done later, the cost is $25 per gun. Range qualification is scheduled at your convenience when you are ready. Private CCW classes can also be arranged by calling 702-558-7890.

Students attending this class should be proficient with the handguns they wish to place on the permit. It is suggested that each student fire at least 100 rounds through each gun prior to qualification.

The course is divided into two four-hour sessions for a total of 8 hours as per Nevada State requirements. On the first night, please do not bring your firearms. The second night encompasses lecture and the written test. Students will bring their firearms and a small towel for disassembly on the second night. NO LIVE AMMUNITION.

Nevada CCW qualification is as follows:

3 yards firing strong hand (one handed)
5 yards firing with two hand hold
7 yards firing with two hand hold

Pistol shooters will have a magazine change for all three distances.
Revolver shooters will reload 5&5 for each distance
